December 2006 : We celebrated Maya's first birthday! The celebrations kept coming -- Hannukah, the holiday party at the Frick, and Julia's fifth birthday where we all played and played in the park with the Eggers, Gills and Cragers, and now Christmas! We partied at Max's house and later at Em's and Michael's where Santa arrived sometime in the wee hours of the night. All in the lovely month of December.

November 2006 : Birthday month! We celebrated Zoe, Maya and Brian's birthday this month. Zoe and Julia decorated Brian's cake, Zoe had a huge birthday bash, and Maya's is set for next month. We had such a great time at Benny's country house. Lauren made cookies with the kids, they played What time is it, Mr. Wolf in the yard. Grandma Sandy came to visit. Grandpa Bernie came for Thanksgiving and we swam and swam at the hotel pool with Steven, Helen, Michael and Em. Then we went to the Empire State building!

September 2006 : What a month it's been! Certainly one of transitions. Our last bang of the summer was a trip to Grandma Ellie's house to ring in a sweet new year. Zoe, Maya, Gavin and Kimberly went apple picking, got lost and found in the corn maze, and bravely braved the haunted rides at Conklin's Farm. The week prior, we went to Victoria Gardens in Central Park. Our wild child went on every ride with Miss Julia. Zoe started school; Maya and Zoe began classes. Zoe and Julie will be ballerinas, gymnists and Olympic swimmers before long. Little Miss Maya is now in her second semester of Music Together and she loves, loves it! And, she started crawling!

August 2006 : We spent August basking on the Beach from Long Island to the Shore. First a magical week on Fire Island with the Eggers. A visit chez Litman and then a long weekend at the Shore with the Cragers and Angela, Dave and baby Ivy.
